Overview & Course Information

The Quran is the glorious book of Allah revealed to the Prophet Peace be on him. The Quran is the greatest form of the remembrance of Allah and a lifeline to muslim spirituality. All Muslims are encouraged to learn to recite it in its original Arabic form, make an attempt to understand its meaning and take all possible steps to practice upon its teachings.

This course is specifically designed to help students learn to read the Quran right from the start and also supports those who know how to recite to improve Quran recitation.

So, if you are dedicated, committed and have the zeal to follow our programme by sparing a 2 hours per week, then Baytul Ilm Academy Sunderland is the best platform for enrolling in this Quran learning opportunity. Our dedicated male and female tutors themselves are trained in the correct recitation of the Quran under the instruction of senior scholars.

All our teachers are regularly trained ensuring the level and quality of the teaching is standardised and of a high level.

Responsibility of student

There are no pre requirements for the course however we require students to be respectful, fully committed, have passion and zeal to learn and make an effort.

 

Aims of the Programme

·       To learn the Makhaarij (Letter pronunciation)

·       To support Mashq (Collective practice of recitation)

·       To be able to formulate quranic words and sentences.

·       To learn continuous recitation (Nazrah)

·       To understand basic rules of Tajweed and its application.

·       Hours of study: 1.5 hours a week in class. Sessions will be onsite only.

Assessments

There will be regular in class assessment of learning and progress.

Attendance

80% attendance is expected.

Costs

The annual cost of the Course is £350. This is to be paid in two instalments. Instalments one of £175 is due upon admission and instalment two is due 4 months later due in April.

Direct debit, Bank transfer or cash can be accepted.

Students with spouse or children enrolled on any of Baytul Ilm Academy course can receive a 10% discount. Please enquire at enrolment stage.
