Overview & Course Information
The Diploma in Islamic
Studies course has been exclusively designed for women, men,
university students, professionals and teens. The courses is branched from the traditional Alimiyyah programme taught in
seminaries across the world, where students study an abridged version of the
Islamic Sciences, which is structured around a series of set modules and texts.
The medium for teaching is English and Arabic. The course is designed to give
students an foundational level of knowledge and understanding of the Islamic
Sciences and the Classical Arabic language. The key purpose of the course is to
provide attendees a holistic understanding of Islam and to aid them in
embedding the Islamic principles into their daily lives.
The Course is unique in the sense that it provides a safe environment
for students to openly discuss any questions or doubts that they may have and
develop an Islamic outlook for life through the aid of qualified teachers.

Teaching
Method

Reading of classical texts

Open discussions and correction of any problematic ideas

Explanation of commentary with unbroken chain of narration
·
Multi diverse teaching enabling students to be connected to sprituality
·
Self-contained class (not too much homework)
·
Classes focused more on practical implementation rather than just
academics.

Assessment designed in the form of multiple-choice questions and/or oral
tests.

The course will run over 2 Years during term time including
a Sunday once a month

a week over 2 sessions. Sessions will be onsite

Online portal
Students will have access to designated
student space on the Academy’s website which will enable you to download
resources, review notes and instructions and also catch up on demand.
Costs
The annual cost of the diploma is £720.
This is to be paid in quarterly instalments of £180.
Flexible options are available. These include: One off payment of £650 (£70
discount) OR Two payments of £350 (£20 discount).
